We were able to spend Christmas with our loving family and wonderful friends in Oklahoma. We had a whirlwind tour of visiting family and eating. Lots and lots of eating. Unfortunately, we also had to say goodbye to a loved one this holiday season. Losing someone you love is never easy, losing them around the holidays makes it even harder. So, this recap won't be full of festive pictures {because honestly I didn't take any, hopefully someone did...} or the awesome gifts we received because it became clear that those things don't really matter. Spending time with our Families and celebrating the reason for the season is what really matters most.
Please say a prayer for my Sister-in-law and her family. Her Dad lost his 18 month battle with cancer last week.
